EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW ARTICLE THUMBNAILS AND ARTIST PROFILES

EnVi was looking for a eye-catching way to display exclusive interviews of various musical acts. I developed a bold and bright signature style for the series, using the new colour palette and fonts as they were updated to highlight these one-of-a-kind interviews. Thumbnails use digital collaging techniques and motion to display the artist prominently, while article and social graphics give new and returning fans key information about the artist in a bite-sized format.

HOJEAN CONCERT RECAP ARTICLE

My first article with EnVi is a recounting of Korean-American indie R&B artist Hojean’s concert in Brooklyn, NY.

The entire article was my own work, from the writing, to the photography, to the thumbnail graphic. This was a great opportunity to learn new skills related to photographing in closed spaces with unexpected lighting situations, observing the environment, audience, and of course the artists.

Photo diaries are a great way for EnVi to showcase original photography or assets from artists in a fun and fan-favourite format. Each diary has a web article requiring a thumbnail and in-article graphics, as well as matching social media posts that utilize the swiping motion native to Instagram to create split view slides.

2025 CHINESE/LUNAR NEW YEAR ILLUSTRATIONS

I was tasked with creating 12 illustrations and a cover for an Instagram post representing the twelve Zodiac signs of the Chinese calendar.

To make the designs consistent and aesthetically pleasing, I chose a vector graphic style with 4 shades of red and a bright yellow, reflecting the traditional red and gold palette of the holiday.
